Who You Are Matters
Hi! I'm Emily and I'm from Los Angeles. I'd lived in LA my entire life up until my freshman year of college, when I moved to New York City to attend school at Barnard. I transferred to USC as a sophomore. Although Barnard was not the best fit for me, I absolutely loved living in New York and I intend to move back after college. Ideally, I would like to work for a publication of some kind doing photo or print journalism. In the meantime, I am very caught up in my Journalism coursework at USC. Both of my parents are highly creative in their own distinct ways. People often tell me that I have inherited the "creative genes" from them, which I would like to believe is true. My mom and dad are both outgoing and social, and I would say I am more reserved and soft spoken by first impression. I did not inherit the "extrovert genes".
