Compass: Transforming the World Through Stories Compass is a news organization which aims to synthesize various global events into short videos geared towards younger audiences. At Compass, we assign skilled journalists and filmmakers to cover current events through an adolescent-friendly lens. Opportunity At Compass, we believe that exposure is a key element in creating a more peaceful world. The fate of our future lies within the hands of our children. Our organization is devoted to educating America’s youth and increasing awareness on global events. By doing so, we hope to inspire children to investigate these issues throughout their adult lives, and to hopefully discover their own role in making the world a better place. The educational field is a huge market with a lot of room for disruption. Similarly, there is a lot of space for innovation in newsroom settings.
